David Anthony began his career in October of 1990 in Los Angeles. 6 months after turning professional, David was selected to shoot the national advertising campaign for Z. Cavericci. This was followed with denim and fashion campaigns for Lawman Jeans, Theodore Clothing, in addition to various editorial assignments. David then moved to Europe to further his development as a photographer, working and living in both Paris and Madrid. After a period of time in Europe, he came back to North America where he now lives in Los Angeles and works in the New York, Miami, European, and Canadian markets. In addition to shooting for major fashion magazines and advertising campaigns, David also directs music videos and conceptual commercials and short films.
David Anthony shoots editorial work for the international editions of Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, Conde Nast Publications, British Cosmopolitan, Italian Vanity Fair, Chicago Magazine and numerous other publications; and his advertising campaigns have included the Britney Spears/Pepsi U.K. Campaign, the Michelob Fashion Campaign, Von Dutch Campaigns, Cino Clothing Campaigns, and the Bakers Shoes Campaigns. The U.S. Ad Review selected Davids Michelob Campaign as one of the best in 2003, and his work is featured prominently in the book Outdoor Lighting: Fashion and Glamour, published by AVA Publishing, London, England. His work is also in the permanent collections at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England, at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, and in private collections throughout the world. Current Gallery representation is with Avant Gallery in the Miami Design District. |
